I would describe the duplex as a budget travel stay. I want to be as honest as possible about what it might be like to stay here. This is a duplex and all of the furnishings and TV's are brand new. The bathroom and kitchen are outdated, but the appliances in kitchen are new. There is a hospital a mile down the road. It is generally quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood is located in a medium crime risk area. Its a place to sleep, relax and watch TV on a budget. You will have plenty of room and it is priced way below the nearest hotel. This type of experience may not be what you are looking for and it’s not for everyone. The price reflects the location. The duplex is located within minutes from the area best attractions. Only a 10-15 minute drive to Anderson Japanese Gardens, BMO Harris Bank Center and the Coronado Theater. For the outdoors type, Rock Cut State Park is about a 20 minute drive. The bedroom features a comfy queen size bed along with a 32" smart TV, and a closet. Sleep in on sunny mornings with the blackout drapes. There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom as well. There is one additional bedroom with a queen sized bed. Guest count should be entered as follows: 1 room required: 1 or 2 2 rooms required: 4 (does not matter if there is 2, 3 or 4 people, as entering these numbers will create correct pricing) Any dishonesty with group size will be considered a breach of house rules and you'll be required to vacate.

Located in historic Rockton, Illinois, this spacious, private 2 bedroom duplex has a full bath, full kitchen, and comfortably sleeps 4. It is on a quiet street, 3 blocks from downtown and the Rock River. It is 15 minutes or less from the tollway, 5-10 minutes from Beloit, WI, and ½ an hour from Rockford. We are close to Beloit College and Blackhawk Raceway. On Wednesday nights in Summer, Rockton holds the summer river market which is 2 blocks from the house. Every June, the Rockton Lions hosts a music festival called Old Settlers Days, which is an easy walk from the house. We are located 15 minutes from Rock Cut State park, which has a beach, paddleboard and kayaking rentals. Enjoy antiquing? There a variety of antique stores and specialty stores in Rockton and surrounding towns. Rockton/Roscoe features a nice bike and walking trail for the outdoor enthusiasts! The master bedroom features a queen sized bed with large walk-in closet. The 2nd bedroom features a double bed with small walk-in closet. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes dishes, silverware, pots and pans, microwave, coffee maker, full gas stove and oven, etc.. There is a full size washer and dryer available for use with instructions on how to operate the machines. All guests are responsible for their food and cooking and cleaning up after use. Guests have access to the right side of the driveway and have access to the unit from the front door. If needed, there is parking in front of the house on the street. There is no smoking allowed on the premises. Someone will be here to greet you, show you around the house and help with any information you need about the area.

This is a upper unit of a duplex so you will need to climb a bunch of stairs. Full size refrigerator is onsite. Bed is a FULL. You get the entire upper floor including a kitchenette that has everything except a stove. Parking is limited to on street parking or you can park across the street in the churches lot. Comfortable full size bed with fresh and comfortable bedding. Fresh towels, shampoo and a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, microwave, hot plate for cooking as well as an assortment of pots and pans, alarm clock, and a 40 in smart TV. Just enter your Netflix, amazon or hulu passwords and you can watch all of your favorite shows. Air mattress (queen size) and additional bedding is available (If you need the air mattress please let us know in advance). Also available are a few board games, a few card games, a few puzzles, a few great books to enjoy, even some old random National Geographic's. There is some milk, cereals, bread, jelly, coffee's, tea's etc, but if you plan on eating a full meal you should plan on making a grocery run for additional supplies or if you need a restaurant recommendation just ask and we'll send you to our favorite "greasy spoon diner type of place" OR someplace that is the exact opposite of a greasy spoon. There is a grocery store a couple of miles away that has everything you need, but if you have a special request I will try and accommodate you if possible and reasonable. There is no washer or dryer available. Just as a heads are 2 dogs that live in the downstairs apartment, but there are NO pets living in this unit at all.
